The subwoofer cable is designed to connect from your amplifier to your subwoofer cable usually from a single subwoofer cable to a left or right female input. either connection of the left and right inputs on the subwoofer will work. Many believe that connecting both improves the sound of your subwoofer hence we also have a Y connector. We tend to agree. Not all subwoofer cables are the same. It is surprising how many people will spend $500 or thousands on a product and then not consider the cable. Traditionally you should allow 5 -10% of your budget on the connecting cable. After all no matter how good the equipment if the connecting cables are not up to standard you are wasting your money. Our Y cable is of equal quality to our subwoofer cable so the cable technology is maintained throughout the connection. Although we could carry an even cheaper range we believe this is the minimum you should be spending on your connecting cable for your subwoofer.
We have designed and built the EM series Subwoofer analog coax cables using our industry unique 3/4'' compression ferrule and compression ring insert. Jay Victor carried over these same ideas when he created the new EXS Silver Audio and Digital Coax cables.
